1. Nature of Service
- GharHelp.in is a connector platform that enables households to access details of verified home service professionals, including household support, childcare support, infant care specialists, cooks, elder-care assistants, and other related providers.
- We act as a facilitator only. We do not employ, contract, or supervise the service providers listed.
- Our role ends once we deliver provider details and, where applicable, alternate contacts.
2. Client Responsibilities
- Clients are solely responsible for:
- Interviewing and assessing the suitability of service providers.
- Conducting any additional background checks they may require.
- Deciding whether or not to hire a particular provider.
- GharHelp.in is not responsible for the performance, behavior, reliability, or availability of any service provider after their details are shared.
- Any negotiation of salary, working hours, duties, or terms of employment is strictly between the client and the provider.
3. Payments & Fees
- All payments made to GharHelp.in are considered service fees for sourcing, verifying, and sharing provider details.
- Once provider details are delivered, the service is considered fulfilled.
- Payments are non-refundable (refer to our Refund Policy for details).
- GharHelp.in does not collect or process salaries, wages, or payments meant for service providers.
4. Use of Provider Details
- Provider details shared with a client are for personal household use only.
- Clients must not share, resell, transfer, or redistribute these details to third parties.
- Misuse of provider details may result in suspension of services and legal action.
5. Limitations of Liability
- GharHelp.in shall not be held liable for:
- Any misconduct, negligence, or dispute arising between a client and a provider.
- Any damages, losses, or claims related to the hiring or non-hiring of a provider.
- Any accidents, injuries, or property issues once a provider begins work in a client’s home.
- Our responsibility is limited to providing verified provider details and offering alternate contacts if initial contacts are unavailable within 24 hours.
6. Indemnification
- By using our platform, clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless GharHelp.in, its team, and affiliates from any claims, disputes, or liabilities arising from interactions with service providers.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
- Client and provider information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- We only share provider details with clients who have made a valid booking.
- We do not sell or misuse client data.
8. Modifications to Terms
- GharHelp.in may update these Terms of Service at any time to reflect changes in business practices, regulations, or legal requirements.
- Continued use of our services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
- Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi.
